Advent Gingerbread Muffins with Kerry Gold Irish Cream
Even though Advent is starting very late this year, we are approaching with huge steps during the Christmas season. Christmas is in five weeks! Did you already start baking for Christmas? If not, my recipe for Gingerbread Muffins with Kerrygold Irish Cream might be just the right introduction to Advent.
You're not really into the Christmas spirit, have not got any presents yet not decorated for Christmas? Then the muffins with a sweet gingerbread flavor will help you to come gently into the Christmas season. The mixture of Christmas flavors and fluffy muffins are the perfect compromise between non-Christmas and Christmas. And if you're already in the Christmas spirit - perfect, just take the muffins with you to the office or serve them for Advent coffee. It does not always have to be biscuits and cookies.
How versatile the Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur is, I showed you last in a summer recipe: Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur ice cream with shortbread crumbs and chocolates -Fudge. Here now follows the winter sweet pendant. Of course you can also drink it on ice, but I especially like the muffin version. The gingerbread muffins will ultimately become loose and fluffy. You can not taste the alcohol properly, but the mild Irish Cream taste is still good. The whole thing is underlined by the spicy Christmas flavors of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. The perfect combination!
The great thing about muffins is that they are so lightly stirred together and baked. So they are ideal for guests or the quick visit. Or pretty packed as a Christmas gift.Lay out a muffin tin with 6 large muffin molds.
